For a little hill, England's most northerly Marilyn packs a lot of punch in terms of steepness and views. View is looking down the College Valley towards a snow capped Cheviot. The weather forecast for this day was cloudy, rain and snow on high ground. Earlier in the morning, I had ascended Ros Castle (another Marilyn) and it was grey, foggy, and wet... so was pleasantly surprised about everything Housedon Hill had to offer.
