This shot was taken on a winter ML course withn PyB. We were off to bivvy just below Aonach Beag summit and the weather was just starting to cloud over when the shot was taken. I wish I'd had a standard lens with me to get more detail of the cloud rolling over the Ben & NE Buttress but had to cut down on weight.

I saw this and voted months ago but I should have commented too. This is an outstanding image which captures the essence of the mountains in winter. The snow under foot, the deepening light and the climber. It's perfect and should be hanging on a wall somewhere.

great shot, love it. i dont like critcising, but i cant help thinking that the walker should be on the right, so you have all of his shadow and better composition. dont know if you agree or not.
