Unique belay to say the least!

Did you jump straight on or did it need a clean first?

straight on it, needed to excavate the odd hold stepping down from hot pies to the belay - the groove however seems to be perma clean! Wacky route.

The route is done in two pitches, the first pitch climbs the right hand rib of the cave mouth as for "Night of the Hot Pies" which includes in my opinion that routes crux (e1 5b/c) before a bold descending traverse to the belay (more fun for the second!) Really good climbing to experience one hell of a groove - more people should do it *** route for sure.

Occasionally a photograph appears that is head and shoulders above the rest. No sunsets, no wide angle view from above, just an honest, exciting and well composed image capturing the exposure of the route. Great shot.
