Thanks for the information,comments and votes (my first 5) chaps. Photo taken 1976/77 not sure exactly. I'll ask John Sheard next time I see him, he's a friend of Brians.

Great shot. Would you mind if I included it within a forthcoming article? I realised that a 'Top 5 E3s' article was never written back when the series was being published last year and, let's face it - White Wizard has to be on that list.

I have confirmation that it is Brian Hall after meeting him in Kalymnos last week, he still has the helmet with the star pattern on top . Have sent him the photos which he thought were great. Have edited the photo as well.
