A microroute at a wee crag at Bay MacNeil, near Ardnamurchan Point.

What a pity such a fantastic venue has been given an airing. Far better to leave such nuggets of beauty to be discovered on foot .....mind you, there's a massive bay not too far from here that's better and in the 11 years I've been going to Ardnamurchan, I've never seen anyone else near it: so it's not getting any pictorial outing, folks.

Really Andy? You can see this wee lump of rock from the lighthouse crags. I've been there three times and never met anyone, but I'm not surprised - it's a six-metre micro-crag that's not worth recording, and there's loads like this on the west coast. I know the other Ardnamurchan bay you mean. It is indeed much better - and it's dead easy to work out where it is, but I doubt even there would be over-run if you or I named it. Feel free to pop me an email via here if you'd really like this removed. Cheers, D.
