Unroped and walking side by side on a crevassed glacier ! However, a rope here would probably have made it more hazardous !

Thanks for the comments guys - I don't remember taking the photo but it showed up after I bought a new scanner and am finally scanning all my old slides.
From the date it must have been taken on the Italian side of the Petite Jorasses where I was climbing with Baz and Pat Ingle and Davey Jones.
