Nice simple composition. Would have preferred rock in foreground to be in focus (or out of focus bit to be cropped) and belayer to be out of focus though. Nice contrast to my glorious sunny day pic of the same route.

I like the out of focus bit - adds a lot of depth. What about cropping out the sea? It's just an opinion, but it seems to make the scene unnecessarily complex... anyway really, really amesome photo. Tough to describe why, but it totally works. I really like the high level of detail in the area where the climber is looking and about to place a hand. And the fact that it appears almost exactly 90 degrees... it is disorienting at first, but after your eyes adjust, makes for a very interesting scene.

I like this crag and this picture is simple, but excellent. It 'showcases' the climber and the route...sometimes a difficult thing to do.

I see what Brian is saying, but try as I might in terms of cropping the picture works extremely well with or wothout the sea. Nice one.

I prefer the shot with the sea, just to give the route some context.
