Re the gear, Pete (who did the first ascent some years ago) was talking to Andy Popp after he'd repeated it for my photos. He said "I thought the gear was quite good when I did the first ascent - when I repeated it I was shocked at how poor it was".
Dodgy cams in the friable break and a small rock in the crack. Doubtful the gear would hold, and the landing is bad. But it is an awesome line...
