It was! The conditions could not have been any better for easy winter routes. We did Jacob's ladder as an introduction to winter mountaineering. Excellent neve, a stable cornice and we had the whole corrie to ourselves.

Nice shot Henning - you should have panned a wee bit more to the right and it would have been so much better !

Strange, he seems to be floating on top of the snow rather than wading through it...

Brian, I have that shot but there was a cloud on the right and it does not look as good. John, it was mostly neve!

Cracking shot! I remember doing Jacob's ladder in June once.
