This is my friend Paul, I was introduced to him in May 2011, his dream was to go from a complete novice to the summit of everest within a year, Ive been climbing with him since we met introducing him to diffrent styles of climbing, since then he has been on cho oyo, managed some good routes with me in the alps and is off to attempt everest in may, In a couple of weeks he will get his first taste of ice climbing. I really like this picture as it brings back the memory of seeing him be so confident to being oh my god what am i doing here, big respect though has he has worked hard and given it his all to become a good competant climber and a good friend.

Great photo. It sounds like he has worked hard. Is he being guided to these summits? Whatever the answer its so good to see people commiting themselves fully.
