They are always magic but this inversion was special because it was off a westerly air flow which is very rare. The result is mist spilling out of Coire Lagan down into Coruisk. Taken from just above An Dorus on Mhadaidh. A memorable day for all who witnessed it.

Absolute magic. I remember an inversion rolling in from the north-west ( I think) after going up Kings Chimney. Rolled in quite ominously,much darker in colour as I recall (although it was 40 years ago) - not like the pristine white one in your pic..
