Met this guy while we were walking the John Muir Trail, jogging toward us. He had started out on the Mexican border and was intending to walk all the PCT, but then continue all the way to Alaska. What you see was how he was... Dressed in deer skins and carrying a leather pack. He had a fishing rod and managed to feed himself with that. He looked in better shape than I did, certainly. We asked how long it was going to take him to get to Alaska and he said about a year!

cool dude. we did the PCT in 1998 and met quite a few characters along the way... but this guy is really going for it!
