Badly pitched tent - you're obviously not a boy scout? Joking aside what a pic! Bags I sleep on the inside though!

Is that a Trango 4 or 3.1?

Hello Ice Nine - super shot. However, the tent seems to be pitched below an overhanging ice bulge and I certainly would not be happy sleeping in it. Please enlighten me on the logistics of putting the tent there.
Regards,
Boje

Hi Boje, thanks for the comments. Camp 2.9 is used more commonly now rather than camp 3 due to an avalanche/serac fall in 2006 that killed 6 people. The site of 2.9 is relatively safe from anything falling from above (unless the ice that it is hacked into decides to move). I didn't stay here, I went directly from Camp 2 to the summit. More information on the 2006 incident here:

It's a fantastic photo!
People tend to go from C2 to summit but I've always wondered what 2.9 looks like (having spent night at C3 many years ago).
Loving the comments..... logistics? Strange question! Logistics of itwould have been carrying then tent up and pitching it, logistics finished.
