Yep, maybe a tad sharp. My issue is that I had to get a new camera as my Ixus 70 developed a fault. I went for the Ixus 105 as it has a 28mm lens and more pixels. Unfortunately, the sharpness of pictures is not as good as the old Ixus (different sensor I guess). So rather than add a smidge of sharpness to my shots, I have had to crank it up to get rid of the blurry detail. Not sure what else to do. Maybe there's a compact Canon out there with a better sensor, but how do you find out picture quality before you buy?

this one had me suck my breath in ,A REAL STUNNER.guess we are looking at churchdoor butress.i was there with mick noone in 1956,we still correspond, since great memories,,,im still drooling over your shots,,great way to see the hills,cant wait to examine your paintings

Thanks Jack, I'm planning a big An Teallach painting next - can't wait to start it, but got to get it right in my head first (and in a sketchbook). This one of the Aonach Eagach is a photo. I will paint the Aonach Eagach again, but I'm still working out the best viewpoint.
