Thankfully at this resolution you can't see the turd that exploded all over us and the route from the generous pair above. A new reason not to climb a winter route behind others...

Yes, real turd. Warm, soft stuff that is tricky to wipe of cleanly from your apparel. I'll not go into how my mate almost had a Homer Simpson moment delving into his rucsac on the summit, "Ah, a piece of lovely chocolate cookie..."

What is the winter climbing scene coming to? That's disgusting. I was in the northers corries last week and it was wild, we took shelter behind the obvious large boulder, to be greeted with a fresh turd. Didn't have the courtesey to even bury it!
