Often wondered how that pitch freezes up (or not!). Looks like a challenging crux for a grade II.

The debate continues ! I never found the crux wall too dificult not with the hand holds all being large, but like you we always rope, beter to be safe and its all part of the game .

its not too bad- easier than dorsal arete i'd say. however, i certainly felt the benefit of the rope...

I found that bit ok it was the bit after that scared me, and then i dropped an axe so had to go find it :(
