A photo to illustrate potential avalanche warning signs. The riming /hoar on the finger stone would suggest the wind has been blowing from the left of the picture.
On Garnedd Ugain (the peak behind) the wind would have been blowing from the left and scouring the slopes, lifting and depositing massive amounts of windslab onto the leeward slopes that can be seen in the picture. The PYG Track and the ZigZags traverses these slopes.
Keep being careful out there folks.
