Incidentally - what a route!!!??? One of my fave HVSs on grit. Awesome fun.

Its very tough at the grade and Henry Kelly was brilliant to do it so many years ago,

Henry Kelly didn't do it. It was named after him because he had tried it. Morley Wood first managed it on a top rope in 1924 and then returned to lead it (with Fred Pigott seconding) in 1926, an astonishing achievement for the period ... possibly the technically hardest pitch in Britain at the time ??
