Great shot .....I remember seeing you from the ajoining gully,I had taken a look at the ridge earlier on in the mornig climbing up to the cannon in order to take some new photographs for the site. As for the gully ,well you may have noticed we had problems getting through it the condition of the snow being very poor and deep ,normaly this easy gully can be climbed in less than an hour, but not yeterday ...lol!

Hey that's me! Great picture, can I get a copy?
PS I can't see the picture without remebering the happy stream of invective as Bighell and his mates hurled abuse at each other as they waded through the snow :)

Great photo. The descent of the pinnacle behind Ross is more straightforward than it appears in this photo.

All part of the cragging experience, Bighell!

Well Ross we would have joined you on the ridge (just nipped up kinda!) but the guy with the helmet strapped to his rucsack won't touch the ridge in snow - snow way! I don't know why.. it's much easier to traverse when its dry and cold like the other Saturday than wets it's wet. Personally I wouldn't grade the ridge more than scrambling 2 but that's my personal opinion.

Yup, not hard at all. But still a lovely lovely route - had forgotten how good it was.
