Customer Service Rep - Spanish and French, SportPursuit Jobs

You will work directly with within our UK and International Customer Champions team, as well as feeding into everything from website development to what brands our customers want to see on the site. This is an excellent opportunity to join an ambitious, high growth start-up in the sports retail space and grow with us as we expand.

SportPursuit is growing fast internationally and we're looking for bright, talented linguists with a passion for eCommerce and the outdoors to spearhead our expansion. We are currently specifically looking for Spanish or French speaker to join the team.

Responsibilities:

As a Customer Champion you will be responsible for responding to any customer queries in your language as well as some local language copy for your market. You will also be an internal champion for your territory, working with sales, operations, marketing and merchandising teams to make sure the onsite and email experience is appropriate for your territory.

Key day-to-day tasks will be:

  • Respond to customer queries with best in class customer service via live chat, email and phone
  • Achieving company KPI's whilst maintaining member satisfaction
  • Problem solve by liaising with our warehouse and customers
  • Feed into business development priorities on both a short term and long term basis
  • Assist with warranty claims
  • Support the business with translations (multi-lingual champions only)
  • Daily website review and escalation
  • Assist in training new Customer Champions
  • Supporting the Head of Customer Service Management team with ad hoc tasks
  • Work with your colleagues to identify and highlight trends in customer queries
  • Skills, Experience and Competencies
  • No specific prior experience necessary, but key requirements are:
  • Experience within a customer service environment (face-to-face or in a contact centre)
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • Spanish or French language skills to a native/fluent level
  • Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail orientated
  • Computer literate with the ability to learn complex systems
  • Work well in a team and as an individual under pressure
  • A love of sport is also a bonus

Salary: £22,000 plus bonus
