Earlier this month a team of Mountain Bothies Association (MBA) volunteers carried out a series of improvements and repairs at the ever-popular Shenavall bothy.

The renovations include a new (effective) fireplace, new benches and doors, a fully re-painted roof and wall-mounted candle holders (sometimes it's the little things). In total 101 volunteer-days were spent in bringing the bothy up to the standard that users would expect to find.

'May you enjoy using the bothy' say the MBA, 'and please, please take out ALL you brought in, including all uneaten food, and cans and bottles.'
