The event is being organized by local company Elite Event Management and is supported by Fáilte Ireland. Race organizer Oliver Kirwan said: 'The race is going to be an amazing adventure and achievement for all competitors. In Killarney we have the facilities, awe inspiring scenery and resources to cater for all the competitors' needs and they will not be disappointed.'

There's a choice of course, either a tough 60km route or a slightly easier 50km alternative. The race begins in the foothills of MacGillycuddy Reeks, Ireland's highest range, with a hill run across Strickeen Mountain. Competitors will then saddle up for the uphill cycle through the spectacular Gap of Dunloe and the break taking Molls Gap. If that wasn't enough a kayak around gorgeous Muckross Lake and a quick nip up Mangerton Mountain or around Torc Mountain will test anybody's endurance and fitness, Oliver promises.

Entries are available for individuals or a 3/ 4 person relay team. Places for both are limited. For full details see the race website.
