Avalanche Awareness evenings at the Clachaig Inn - Glencoe

The Clachaig Inn, Glencoe, are hosting several free avalanche awareness and winter safety lectures.

If you can't make the lectures, you can find information on avalanche safety on the Mountaineering Council of Scotand Website.

You can also download a free avalanche awareness quiz programme from the Glenmore Lodge Website.

The dates and details for the Clachaig evenings are:

  • Tuesday 3rd and 10th February
    Avalanche awareness 8pm Lounge bar.  With Wes Sterrit and Tom Rupar (SAIS observers on Creag Meagaidh).

  • Tuesday 17th and 24th February
    Winter mountain navigation 8pm Lounge Bar.  With Mike Pescod and Roger Wild (IFMGA mountain guides).

  • Tuesday 3rd and 10th March
    Winter mountain safety 8pm Lounge bar.  Also with Mike Pescod and Roger Wild.
