Concerning reading, was it anything other than being power hungry that made the king take over in the first place?

I don't think that is what Graham meant - he became king then, but dismissed the govt. only last year becoming a dictator. Graham - the parties were doing a pretty piss-poor job and I think he thought he could do better. Sadly a) he couldn't and b) he dismissed a democratic - if not very good - govt. to do it.
