It's Ring Ouzel time again!

© ROCKFAX
Last year two pairs of Ring Ouzel nested successfully on the Stanage and this was in no small part due to the support of climbers who diligently observed the restrictions placed along the edge. The successfull nestings took place near Tower Face, above the Plantation, and near Apparent North buttress (left).
The target for nesting Ring Ouzel is 4 nests along the edge so this year please keep an eye out for any new restrictions that may be placed on sections of the edge. As usual advisory signs will be placed and the restrictions are likely to be from the end of March to July.
Keep an eye on this site for more precise details when the nesting sites have been established.
