Not only will the boot be available as a prize but for maximum comfort and performance we are offering free boot fitting by the Backcountry UK team and a free top of the range Sidas Winter Comfort Custom supportive footbed to the prize winner. This top of the range boot combination would normally retail for over £530.

At Backcountry UK we have been providing the best in ski touring equipment, fitting and advice for over 20 years. In our recent move we joined our friends at Ilkley cycles to create a beautiful one stop multi sports shop with parking and cafe. We are continuing with the core of our business which is technical advice and quality ski touring and off piste / freeride boot fitting, skis, bindings, skins and avalanche safety equipment, as well as continuing with our walking boot range and fitting services.

The Scarpa F1 Evo are an excellent lightweight ski touring / mountaineering boot which combine an amazing 1.2KG per boot weight, and a massive range of motion in walk mode, with a precise fit and excellent ski control.

Supplied with the best Intuition Liners and featuring Scarpa's Carbon Core technology, from their legendary freeride boots the Freedom SL and RS, the F1 evo provide amazing lateral stiffness with a smooth and progressive forward flex.

These features combine to give a lightweight ascent focused boot which punches well above its weight on the descents.

Its worth noting that the F1 Evo is only compatible with pin tech bindings and due to the specialised nature of these boots we can only offer the competition winner sizes between Mondo 26 and Mondo 29 (approx UK 6.5 to UK11).

We will provide a high spec, custom molded, supportive arch foot bed from Sidas, the Winter Comfort Custom, fitted with our new Sidas fit station and machines, along with a full inner boot heat mold and any shell work required to complete this custom fitted ski tourers dream prize package.
