"I have been climbing for over 20 years and in that time visited many of the world's premier climbing destinations; to boulder, sport, and trad climb. Whilst I love travelling and repeating classic lines, I’m primarily motivated by and known for first ascents and the development and documentation of new climbing areas. These are usually in my home stomping grounds of the Lake District, Lancashire, and the Yorkshire Dales, but also as far afield as Morocco, India and the States. I’m particularly proud of the fact that I’ve climbed well over 1000 new climbs, with 600+ being in the 7th and 8th grades."
