News just in - Runner Finlay Wild has set a new fastest time on the Welsh 3000ers, breaking a record that's stood for 31 years. Finlay's time of 4:10:48 finally betters Colin Donnelly's 4:19, a legendary achievement back in 1988.

This comes just days after he set a probable new speed record on the Snowdon Horseshoe, completing the route in a blistering 1:20:16.

That's just fantastic. And Nicky Spinks just started her double Paddy Buckley attempt. Must be something in the Welsh water this week...
