Keen climber and experienced outdoor industry professional Rebecca Ting is joining the UKC/UKH/Rockfax team as a part-time Editor. Rebecca will focus on Rockfax guidebook editing and gear reviews for the time being, but we hope to use her skills in other areas in the future.

After dalliances in other sports, Rebecca discovered climbing later in life. Her favourite adventures to date have included multipitch trad in the Anti-Atlas, Squamish and Wadi Rum and skimo in the Rockies. Based in the climbing Mecca of Oxford during the week, she describes herself as a weekend warrior by necessity. Rebecca holds a TA commission as Captain, coaches climbing to young people and visually-impaired adults and co-organises the Women's Climbing Symposium.
