Chris Sleight, host of the new Mountain podcast, recently met up with our own Dan Bailey and friends in the Cairngorms to record an episode on a very windy and wintry Fiacaill Ridge.
What's so special about ridges? It's all about the aesthetic of the line, they reckon, and the fact that relatively easy climbing can still get you into some exciting places. And they're a good option in iffy snow conditions too.
