Police investigating the disappearance of a walker in Glen Coe have made a fresh appeal for information several weeks after he went missing.
Sixty-nine year old Robin Garton from Wiltshire had been planning to meet friends in Wester Ross on 25 September, but was declared missing after he failed to turn up. It is thought he'd been walking in the Glen Coe area, but repeated searches have so far drawn a blank.
However a pair of black and gold Leki walking poles recovered near Aonach Eagach may be a clue. Police are asking anyone who has also lost walking poles in the area to get in touch.
