Photo Fun: Classic Mountains Turned Psychedelic

© Dreamscope app

Google recently open-sourced a bit of software called Deep Dream, which mucks about with photos to create surreal hallucinogenic images. For a bit of fun we've tried running some of our favourite mountain pictures from the user galleries through a free app called Dreamscope, which lets you apply a variety of filters with far-out names ...with mixed results. Here's what it's made of ten classic mountains. But is it art?

But is it art? Either way they're hideous!
31 Jul, 2015
Yeah agreed. I think you probably have to do just part of an image and then work on that before you get anything decent.

I quite like some of these. A bit like a mechanical Van Gogh.

Some of those are very 'Cyriak'! (If you don't know who Cyriak is, look for 'cyriak cows' on youtube.)

Anyone know why I can't get either chrome or firefox to display any of the photos/"art"?
