2014 Boardman Tasker Shortlist Announced

The 2014 short list for the Boardman Tasker annual literature award has been announced.

The overall winner of the award and £3000 prize will be announced at the Kendal Mountain Festival later this year.

There has been an unusually high number of books entered for this year's award; the judges have had more than forty titles to consider before compiling a shortlist.

This year's judges Audrey Salkeld (Chair), Chris Harle and Robin Campbell, have selected the following books for this year's shortlist:
