New Android App for BMC is totally RAD

Get all the essential BMC crag access info on your Android phone, with our brand-new Regional Access Database (RAD) app.

The BMC's Regional Access Database – or RAD as it's more snappily known – is the definitive source of access info on the web. From bird restrictions and parking advice to sensitive approaches and advice on local ethics, this is the place to go to find out whether you can climb on a crag and just how to approach it.

But when you're on the go, chasing the weather across the Peak District, it's hard to find the time to stop and check the BMC website. Enter our new Android app – giving you access information, wherever you are.

You can search from crags (or just let your phone show you nearby crags with access information), report an access problem and mark crags as favourites for quick access updates on your dashboard.

BMC Access and Conservation Officer Rob Dyer said: "The whole BMC access team is excited about the new app. We've been working on it over the last year and it's a great leap forward for BMC access information. I installed it on my phone last year and it's certainly made my life easier. Give it a try!"
