The Big Climb is a weekend of workshops, lectures and events on the 14th and 15th of May 2011 at Plas y Brenin, North Wales.

Who is The Big Climb for?

It is for a wide variety of people - anyone who wants to learn almost anything about climbing! The format of the weekend is simple - you move around the Plas y Brenin centre as you like - joining in with workshops of your choice. Also - you can choose to nip out climbing at any point - it really is up to you.

How is this climbing news, Its just climbing Promotion stick it on a advert forum.

Personally I don't begrudge them trying to create revenue off the back of the traffic they generate from a site that has loads of interesting free content. You don't have to pay for the log books, access to the route database, articles, news, videos... etc They obviously have gone to some effort to make this event a success and are trying to promote it, what would you do?
