Waymarking - Dumbing Down the Mountain

The debate about whether there should be waymarked routes up Scotland's mountains continues. BBC Radio Scotland and BBC TV Reporting Scotland both featured coverage of the debate today.

The Mountaineering Council of Scotland's Chief Officer David Gibson particpated in a radio debate with presenter Shareen Nanjiani and Iain MacWhirter of The Herald today on BBC Radio Scotland's Morning Extra programme.

Listen here: www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer . Discussion starts at around 30 minutes in.

David was also interviewed today by BBC TV's Reporting Scotland and we understand the piece will be televised this evening. The programme commences at 18:30 but will not be available to view on BBC i-Player.
