My condolences to the family. I can remember a few years ago having a conversation with my mum about the risks involved with climbing. She was rightly telling me to be careful, suggesting suitable life insurance, maybe hinting at taking up something safer. The response was that not everyone gets the opportunity to do something they really enjoy, and that i should make the most of it. Occasionally some of us go unexpectedly, and unfortunatly there are often loved ones left behind. But this is the same with a lot of other kinds of accidents which happen much more frequently in our everyday lives. If my time is out on the hill, then i for one would be happy. Hopefully my parents and friends know this too. Be safe my friends, but enjoy every minute of it. Iain
