Jenny Woodward sends Zoolook

After a 6 month career break in the south of France, on Tuesday this week, Jenny Woodward made the first female ascent of Zoolook (F8a) at Malham. More British women than ever have been notching up 8as recently, but Jenny's redpoint is particularly impressive, as Zoolook is no soft touch. She climbed Supercool (F8a+) at Gordale last year, Zoolook, though less technical, has a more powerful crux and took Jenny longer to redpoint. Jenny's relaxed approach, combined with her persistence and positive attitude ensure that she remains one of the most inspirational women climbers on the British scene.
