Climbs to do in the UK before I leave for Yosemite. This list contains the British routes I value as the most important to me. This could be because of a climbs history, its first ascentionist, it might be a breakthrough in standards, the adventurous nature, an aesthetically pleasing line. All routes contained within this list (with one notable exception, yosemite wall in malham cove) are either trad routes,deep water solos, winter or mountaineering routes or highball boulders because sport climbing is for pussies. I have included routes I have already completed if they were of excellent quality and worthy of being on the list. I have also included some routes which I would like to aid climb e.g. london wall at millstone. If you complete this list, pat yourself on the back, you are well on the way to becoming an excellent climber. Why not try my other ticklist, 'The best the UK has to offer for beasts'.
