Access Banned
A major rock fall has occured - access to the lower tier, beyond Dawes of Perception slab is very restricted and has been fenced off to protect the public.
There is currently no access to the quarry and climbers should avoid it for the time being.
The quarry is within the Padarn Country Park, managed by Gwynedd Council.
Rockfax Description
Another common solo, but it is also a reasonable lead. Start at the ledge on the edge of the wall. Head up the groove until you can swing left onto spike jugs on the wall. Mantel up on these. A hard move up and right regains the arete and the first bolt. Carry on up the arete past a second bolt to the top. © Rockfax
