Access Banned
A major rock fall has occured - access to the lower tier, beyond Dawes of Perception slab is very restricted and has been fenced off to protect the public.
There is currently no access to the quarry and climbers should avoid it for the time being.
The quarry is within the Padarn Country Park, managed by Gwynedd Council.
Rockfax Description
Start up the right-hand flake. Make a tricky move to reach the first bolt. Layback up to the top of the pinnacle. A committing reach up and right leads to better holds and the slab. Follow the ramp rightwards to a small spike. A crack now leads back left - follow this to a lower-off. Photo on p.ยงยงยง. © Rockfax
