Rockfax Description
An adventure route and not really the clip-up you might expect.
1) 5c, 25m. From the abseil bolts, make a committing step onto a notch in the arete. Carry on up the arete to a sloping ledge and a peg. A groove on the left leads to another peg, before moving back right to a ledge - peg. Above are two grooves in the arete. Start up the right groove, pass a bolt, then move left into the other groove to reach the 'Rome' belay.
2) 6b, 28m. Move out to the arete and clip a bolt round on the face. Then, most likely, you will step back and forth several times before you commit to the powerful move off a lonely undercut. Scrabble round the next arete to arrive at the base of corner. Climb this with comparative ease to the top. © Rockfax
