Rockfax Description
The girdle traverse is not really a good idea unless the crag is deserted - a rare occurrence (line not shown on topo). Start up Eat,Stick, and Die and finish at the top of The Sod taking the easiest/best line and belays when required. © Rockfax

UKC Logbook Description
Girdle traverse the left-hand end of the Cuttings Main Cliff. An utterly trivial yet mildly serious outing. Start up We're Only Placing Bolts for Nigel and strike rightwards, somewhere between the bottom of the crag and the big ledge at the top, clipping bolts as available and taking belay stances where appropriate. Finish at the belay of The Sod. Grade is somewhere between F3 and F5+ depending on the exact line chosen. All party competence required, some tricky downclimbs maintain interest and potential exists for big swings into the ground. Prussiks optional.

A continuation past Mindmeld exists at a massively increased grade - the Cuttings last great problem?
