Rockfax Description
A phenomenal route that traces an intricate line across some impressive terrain, as well as tackling the eponymous feature in its middle reaches. Start at a vertical grassy break between two short walls, just up from the lowest point of the buttress.
1) 4c, 32m. Pitch 1 of Great Eastern Route.
2) 4c, 30m. Move up a small pinnacle and follow a short crack to the base of the 'Yellow Slab' itself. Climb up the centre of the slab and move left into a corner-crack. Climb the crack and exit left to a shelf and belay.
3) 4c, 20m. Traverse left past blocks and continue below the capping overhangs to an exit above a large corner. © Rockfax
