Rockfax Description
The dominating square-cut corner gives deceptively awkward climbing on an ambiguous line. Start as for Great Eastern Route.
1) 4c, 17m. Move up to the slabby ramp, then climb rightwards to a short wall. Move up the wall to a slab and belay.
2) 6b, 35m. Climb the corner to just above a tiny ledge then break out left to gain the arete. Make steep moves up and then head back right to regain the corner. Continue to join the ramp of Great Eastern Route and move right to belay below a thin crack. The corner direct above the tiny ledge is E5 6b.
3) 5c, 25m. Climb the crack-line in the leaning wall to easier ground which leads to the top. © Rockfax
