75m, 2 pitches. Starts at the prominent gully left of start of rib and slab. Scramble up steep grass from the foot of the basalt intrusion to reach the starting stance.
P1 climb the gully which gradually leans right in its entirety. A sustained pitch of 4a/4b climbing with only just enough gear. Keep out of the gully, on its right wall, in middle section. Belay on traverse on New West. A stunning 45metre pitch on fabulous rock.
P2 follow the shallow groove on the right till it flattens out. Traverse down and left to another gully, cross it and climb its left arete in very exposed positions. Again, sustained 4a/4b but protection much better. 30m

βeta: Graham led first, I led second pitch. Brilliant route, more than worth the two stars it gets in F&R guide. Quite hard for the grade and P1 is quite bold. Similar difficulty to Appian Way but much better route.
