Rockfax Description
A hard pitch up the centre of the face. Start in the middle of the wall below a thin left-trending crack. Climb up to the crack and follow it with difficulty to an easing where it terminates at the bottom of a quartz flecked right-leading ramp. Move up the ramp to a poor peg (other gear available) and climb the fingery wall above to the top. © Rockfax

βeta: Like Macca and Ged say, the line in the rock fax is wrong, it’s nowhere near as traversey as it is in the book. Lower peg is a good indicator of where to go and seems like it might hold a fall though is looking rusty. You can back it up with other kit. Top peg is gone. GEAR BETA; there is a bomber yellow alien/grey Camelot next to the peg. With more small cams than I had you could get other bits in on this section too. I had placed all my other small cams lower down.

βeta: The pegs are useless, the top one is non existent and the lower one has gear around it. They are only use for marking the line of the route. Which as Ged says is slightly left in the upper reaches than the rockfax topo. Very good route and markedly different to the other side of the fin.
