Rockfax Description
A journey beneath some of the UK's most adventurous climbing terrain. Usually accomplished as a DWS. Start at sea level in Anstey's Cove down and left (looking out) of the Cocytus buttress. Mid to low tide only at the given grade.
Traverse rightwards on huge holds to a steeper section. Once past this point, a 'ridge like' reef is encountered that provides an excellent view of the Sanctuary Wall. Cross a couple of inlets and traverse wildly below the wall on massive holds, to where some scrambling and boulder-hopping leads to an exit onto the Long Quarry Point floor just beyond a pinnacle. Note that at high-tide the section beneath the Sanctuary Wall itself can be gained via a short abseil from an iron spike on the rim of the quarry floor. © Rockfax

βeta: Large hold has broken off from the crux about 2/3 of the way along back to Anstey's beach. Still goes at 4 / easy 5
