Rockfax Description
An interesting and exposed expedition in three ptiches. Climb the short slippery crack (crux) to gain the base of the ramp and follow this to a sitting stance on the Pulpit. Stride across the gap and follow the exposed ramp to a large ledge and tree belay. Finish out to the right for some rather nice exposure. © Rockfax

βeta: Great opportunity for a triple backflip into the pool from the shelf belay stance. You may have to wait your turn though.

βeta: As a beginners route this was great. My daughter loved it, particularly the "step across space" from the pulpit. As her first 'real' climb outside she'll remmeber this one for a while.

βeta: Climbed this in the damp; a little unpleasant. Felt like it would have been lovely in the dry though. Not much to belay off at the very top, mind...

βeta: Sand & insects not a problem earlier today. Friends 3 & 4 v. useful at Pulpit belay, in order to avoid attaching to loose stuff. Worth doing for the big step across the corner.

βeta: Excellent first pitch, second pitch a sandy (exposed) walk, third pitch artifical, ie you could go up anywhere. Not a 3 star route by any stretch of the imagination.
