Rockfax Description
A tough pitch and one of the Lake District's first 'extremes'. Start on the right of the raised ledge below a crack/corner.
1) 4c, 14m. Left of the crack/corner is a series of short blind corners. Follow these leftwards and up to a belay ledge.
2) 5b, 17m. Move up the left-leaning corner for 5m, then make a strenuous series of pulls out right to an easing. Continue up a corner to a tree-covered ledge.
3) 4c, 20m. Finish up the groove at the back of the ledge. © Rockfax
